Our journey begins from here on the First Day |
| Our Second day together was spent at Universal Studios. The weather was mostly overcast which made for an excellent theme park visit. The heat index was around 88 degrees. We stayed there all day until 9:00 pm. |
| Our Third day together was attending the debut Mass Event which was a goose bump producer. This was an extreme culture shock in worship for many of us. |
| Our Fourth day together included
many classes and activities throughout the complex. There were three
tracks going on and each group of approx 12000 people were assigned one of
the three. Chosen in Christ, Chosen with Others and Chosen in the
World. This day we attended the Chosen with Others Track.
There is to much material to cover here, we hope to see you at the Pot Luck Dinner to share many of the things we learned this day. |
| Our Fifth day together once again included many classes and activities throughout the complex. On this day we attended the Chosen in the World Track. We finished once again at the Mass Event as seen here. This photo tries to show how many people were near us in this huge gathering. |
| On Our Sixth day together we
attended the Chosen in Christ Track. One of the most sought after presentations
of the gathering was the "Jesus Painter" This guy paints a
portrait right before your eyes in about 5 minutes. If you ever get
a chance to see him live we recommend you check it out!
We also attended what many if not all of us is the largest feast of our Lord in Holy Communion. The service was absolutely moving. Imagine communing with 30+ Thousand other believers in Christ! |
| On Our Seventh Day, we went to a Mass Event starting at 9:00 am. We participated in yet another uplifting praising time together. We believe that we caught a glimpse of what it will be like when we are all in Heaven together worshiping our Lord. It was amazing how many tears were shed, tears of joy, thankfulness and awe. We really didn't want the event to end! Thank God that when we all get to heaven we will be able to celebrate the Victory of our Lord for all eternity. |
